TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

Ciberseguridad Simple is an initiative of Cloud Seguro SAS, designed to bring cybersecurity to companies of all sizes in a simple, ethical and responsible way. By using this platform, you fully and unreservedly accept the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Purpose of the Service

Ciberseguridad Simple offers digital tools for:

  • Diagnosing cybersecurity maturity level,
  • Detecting public exposure through Scan,
  • Reviewing public leaks through Breach,
  • Complementary models and services (add-ons) to assess specific topics such as cloud, phishing, vulnerabilities, etc.

These tools are informational and do not constitute an audit, technical test or formal certification. Results must be used with professional judgment and always validated before making critical decisions.

2. Authorization of Use and Statement of Responsibility

By accessing, registering for or purchasing any of the services, the user expressly declares that they are authorized by the company or organization to use the tools, act on its behalf and validate their use within the applicable legal and contractual framework.

Likewise, the user agrees not to use the platform to upload, process or analyze sensitive or confidential data, such as:

  • Industrial or trade secrets,
  • Information marked as confidential,
  • Credentials or passwords,
  • Sensitive personal data.

3. Confidentiality and Scope

For the purposes of this agreement, Confidential Information means any content that:

a) gives an organization or third party a competitive advantage, or whose disclosure would be harmful; and

b) is marked as "Confidential", "Private", "Restricted" or should reasonably be assumed to be confidential.

Ciberseguridad Simple does not collect or handle this type of information, and the user acknowledges that it is their responsibility not to enter it into any operational flow.

In the event of accidental disclosure, the user must immediately notify Cloud Seguro SAS so it can be securely deleted.

4. About the Tools: Accuracy and Scope

Maturity assessment

The maturity level result depends solely and exclusively on the answers provided by the user. The tool does not internally verify or validate the accuracy of the data. For greater accuracy, you can hire a specialized audit.

Scan

Scan identifies possible public vulnerabilities at a surface level. It does not exploit flaws, does not access systems and does not replace a penetration test or ethical hacking engagement, which must be performed by specialized consultants following formal methodologies (OWASP, OSSTMM, etc.).

Models and Add-ons

The platform's additional models or "add-ons" are designed to complement the general diagnoses (for example, cloud security, phishing or SaaS). Each of them must be interpreted in context and professionally validated before making technical or legal decisions.

5. Responsible Use

It is strictly prohibited to:

  • Use the platform to assess systems or domains without their owner's consent,
  • Enter personal or confidential information of third parties
  • Manipulate the results for misleading commercial purposes,
  • Use the tools for malicious, competitive or unfair purposes.

6. Personal Data Protection

We comply with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and the guidelines of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC). We apply the principles of:

  • Purpose: we only process the data that is necessary.
  • Security: we protect information with technical and organizational controls.
  • Restricted circulation: we do not share data without prior authorization.

7. Passwords and Good Practices

Ciberseguridad Simple does not request, store or process passwords or credentials.

We recommend:

  • Not using simple passwords such as "123456" or "admin",
  • Enabling multi-factor authentication,
  • Changing passwords regularly and keeping them secure.

Cybersecurity should be simple, but your passwords shouldn't.

8. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, design, reports, models and documentation associated with Ciberseguridad Simple are the property of Cloud Seguro SAS and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Copying, modifying, redistributing or using the content without express authorization is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloud Seguro SAS and its partners, suppliers and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Data loss
  • Business interruption
  • Wrong technical decisions,
  • Costs of substitute services.

These limitations will remain in effect even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. By using the platform you understand that you must analyze and understand the information provided.

10. Changes

These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. The current version will always be available on the platform with its publication date. We recommend reviewing them periodically.
